Cunning promises,
Sworn to God but broken.
Fake smile, hiding truth,
Love or Deceit, unspoken.
Clarity doubted,
statements unaccounted.
Hidden wishes,
Crippled with stitches.
Cloaked reality,
succumbed to life's brutality.
Humans enslaved,
deceptive are word games.
So don't look at,
look inside.
No veil can hide,
the truth we cite.
Because eyes never lie,
even when lips do.
Mind betrays,
heart shows the truth.
